MIRRA is a home use portable device which checks mammary glands for any anomalies by measuring their impedance.
Why Breast Self Exams Are Important
Breast cancer is the most frequent cancer among women. While breast cancer rates are higher among women in more developed regions, rates are increasing in nearly every region globally.
2.1 million women - new breast cancer cases every year 627,000 – 15% overall fatal cases (in 2018) In order to improve breast cancer outcomes and survival, early detection is critical.

How MIRRA works
Normal tissue and tumors have different amounts of water in them, which leads to differences in bioimpedance: a measure
of how well the body impedes the flow
of an electric current.
By using super-sensitive electrodes, MIRRA can measure tiny differences
in bioimpedance in the skin and specifically, within your mammary glands.
The device does not diagnose any condition, it merely displays any changes in your mammary glands' parameters. This tells you that you should undergoan in-depth examination at a specialised healthcare institution.
The MIRRA mobile app
The mobile app works with the MIRRA device, displaying test results, and working as your personal test journal. It can remind you to perform the test, and contains useful information to maintain your health.

Testing
Throughout the year, we're conducting research together with doctors and their patients. We've collected data on impedance of thousands of measurmets to create a neural network that would recognize anomalies.
